This part time, temporary contract role invites licensed psychiatrists to assess individuals entering a structured recovery program. Your work will directly influence treatment planning and support a culturally responsive care model that meets patients’ diverse needs.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct psychiatric intake assessments remotely or in person
• Assess mental health histories and medication profiles
• Identify risks requiring alternative care settings
• Authorize tailored treatment plans when necessary
• Participate in interdisciplinary case discussions

Requirements:
• FRCPC designation in Psychiatry required
• Current CPSO registration in valuable standing
• Independent OHIP billing capability
• Experience in community psychiatry preferred
• Commitment to trauma-informed care practices
