Enhance adult education as a Literacy Skills Instructor at Skills Upgrading Centre, focusing on foundation literacy and skills for life and work. Teach in a supportive, blended learning setting.
As an essential skills instructor, you'll design and implement engaging lessons that empower students in their educational and career pursuits. Your work will encompass everything from mathematics and reading to teaching vital life skills for daily challenges and occupational readiness. You’ll assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback, contributing to a engaging atmosphere that builds confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
• Create customized learning plans for students at various levels
• Use diverse assessment methods to monitor student achievements
• Keep detailed records of student progress and achievements
• Offer wraparound support for students' community needs
• Participate in community engagement and organizational events
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Adult Education or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years teaching experience with adults
• Skilled in using MS 365 and learning management systems
• Solid problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills
• Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
