Support and improve children's physical health at the Queen Alexandra Centre for Children's Health in Victoria, BC. This regular part time position involves travel to multiple locations.
In your role as a Physiotherapist, you'll be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating children with disabilities, following the principles of a family-centered philosophy. You will work closely with the Provincial Inclusion Outreach Program and contribute significantly to the physical and emotional well-being of the children and families served. Your experience will guide collaboration with other professionals and parents.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct assessments of children's physical conditions
• Create tailored treatment programs based on individual needs
• Collaborate with parents and interdisciplinary teams
• Deliver training on physiotherapy practices to other staff
• Facilitate travel for service delivery
Requirements:
• Graduation in Physiotherapy with BC licensure
• Minimum of three years' relevant experience
• Membership eligibility with CPA
• Solid organizational and communication abilities
• Capacity to operate necessary therapy equipment
