As a Safety Manager, you will report to the Regional Director, focusing on compliance with various safety regulations for school bus operations. Your leadership will guide Bus Driver Trainers and manage safety training initiatives. This role requires collaboration with multiple tiers of government to ensure that safety standards are met and maintained, impacting driver education across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead the company’s safety training initiatives and compliance efforts
• Oversee Bus Driver Trainer operations and performance
• Manage compliance with federal,
provincial, and municipal regulations
• Assess and update training policies and procedures
• Address and report on safety-related incidents
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years experience in a Safety role
• Valid Class-B license or willingness to obtain
• First Aid & CPR certification must be current
• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite
• Completion of Qualified Instructor in Driver Education course
