Job Title
Tenure‑track Professor in the Department of Strategy, Entrepreneurship, and Management (SEM) at the Alberta School of Business, University of Alberta. Start date July 1 2027 (or soon thereafter). Proficiency in English is required.
Responsibilities
Teach mandatory courses in strategy, entrepreneurship, or management to undergraduate and graduate students.
Conduct research, publish in leading academic journals, and build an active, sustainable research program.
Supervise graduate students and contribute to the PhD program.
Engage with the academic and qualified community and support the School’s research and teaching mission.
Qualifications
PhD in strategy, entrepreneurship, management, or a closely related discipline (must be completed by an agreed‑upon date if not yet earned).
Demonstrated potential for publishing top‑level research relevant to the discipline.
Evidence of teaching excellence.
Experience in securing research grants is a plus.
Salary and Advantages
Salary commensurate with qualifications, competitive with similar research‑focused business schools. A comprehensive benefits package is provided in accordance with Schedule A of the collective agreement.
