This includes the education program to ensure student academic performance, budget to ensure fiscal health of the site, school office operations, community relations, people management and facilities.Essential FunctionsReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.Provide instructional leadership for the school site:Maintain school‐wide focus on high standards of student achievementEnsure coverage of CA standards and model Aspire instructional guidelinesManage process for analyzing data to increase student achievementSupport all teachers in their professional developmentSupport new teachers through inductionManage all human resources at the school site:Attract and select top performersProvide professional development opportunitiesDevelop collaborative team cultureManage performance; adhere to company policy and state/federal employment lawsConsult with Human Resources as appropriateManage all resources at the school site:Manage daily operations, facilities, safety,
and administrative processesAddress issues and problems that arise in a principle‐centered, creative, thoughtful and constructive wayFollow‐up with constituents as neededAdhere to Aspire best practices, policies and proceduresSeek outside support as appropriateSet and maintain a balanced budget; plan for future needsEnsure compliance with restrictions and reporting requirements of categorical funds and restricted donationsAdhere to company policy and protocols for sound fiscal managementDevelop an effective school community:Work with parents to better serve studentsGarner support from community groups and leadersDevelop positive relationships with sponsoring district and neighborhood schoolsStrategy:Manage process for determining priorities; set development timetables and support school team in achieving deliverablesLead long‐term strategic planning and medium‐term process improvement as neededWork in collaboration with other Principals and Home Office to achieve organizational goalsAdditional:Demonstrate knowledge of, and support, the Aspire Public Schools mission, vision, value statements including antiracism, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards, and the code of ethical behaviorPerform other related duties as required and assignedQualificationsCompetencies:Demonstrated commitment to students and learningDemonstrated knowledge of curriculum development and program designIn‐depth experience developing teachersStrong experience in performance assessmentExcellent relationship‐building and management skillsStrong problem‐solving and consensus‐building abilitiesExcellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to write clearly and persuasivelyExcellent organization,
