A leading organization is seeking an experienced Senior Construction Manager to support the delivery of a high level commercial office fit up. This is a significant capital project valued at $50M+, expected to run over approximately 2 to 3 years. The successful candidate will have a strong background delivering complex commercial construction and workplace projects, with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders, lead project teams, and drive successful project outcomes from planning through completion.You will oversee the full project lifecycle, including procurement, planning, construction, stakeholder management, and project closeout. You will work closely with clients, consultants, contractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role is ideal for a seasoned project leader who thrives in complex environments and has experience managing large-scale corporate office interiors.Key Responsibilities:Lead construction delivery for a large-scale, multi-phase commercial office fit out projectOversee day-to-day construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget, and to quality expectationsManage construction scope, schedule, cost control, risks, and overall project performanceCoordinate and manage relationships with general contractors, consultants, trades, vendors, landlords, tenants, and key stakeholdersSupport procurement activities including RFPs, RFQs, tendering, bid reviews,



and contractor/vendor selectionProvide construction oversight across various delivery models, including lump sum and construction management approachesReview and manage construction contracts, agreements, change orders, and project documentationMonitor site progress, identify risks, resolve issues, and implement solutions to maintain project momentumLead construction meetings, reporting, and project updates with senior stakeholdersSupport and mentor project team members throughout the construction lifecycleQualifications & Experience:8+ years of experience managing commercial construction, workplace, or interior fit out projectsProven experience delivering complex projects with individual values of $10M+Strong background overseeing large-scale corporate office renovations and commercial interiorsExperience managing general contractors, subcontractors, consultants, and construction partnersStrong understanding of construction contracts, including CCDC 5B and CCDC 2Experience with construction procurement, tendering, bid analysis, and contractor selection processesAbility to manage complex stakeholder environments and multiple project prioritiesStrong communication, leadership, organization, and presentation skillsFamiliarity with BSDQ is considered an assetBilingual French and English is preferredWhat Success Looks Like:The ideal candidate is a driven and experienced Senior Construction Manager who can take ownership of a high-profile project, provide solid construction leadership, and ensure successful delivery across all phases of construction. #J-18808-Ljbffr
