As the RN/RPN, you will deliver psychiatric nursing services, ensuring comprehensive assessments and patient education in a supportive workplace. Your skills in crisis intervention and therapeutic communication are key to fostering patient trust and recovery. Engage with patients to develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement, evaluate, and document nursing interventions
• Facilitate treatment sessions using evidence-based methods
• Engage in psycho-educational activities for patients and families
• Uphold patients’ rights and dignity throughout care
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives
Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited Nursing program
• Recent experience in mental health services
• Licensed as an RN or RPN by BCCNM
• Familiarity with psychosocial rehabilitation models
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills
