As a Central Plant Mechanic, your main focus will be on managing and maintaining heating and cooling systems for government facilities. You will perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure all operations comply with safety standards. Your role will be critical in maintaining uninterrupted service and addressing any mechanical failures promptly.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate central heating and cooling plant equipment
• Conduct regular maintenance and repairs
• Document equipment performance in shift logs
• Test and adjust generator performance
• Respond to safety and security incidents
Requirements:
• 3+ years experience at Class 4 level B
• In-depth knowledge of plant mechanical systems
• Robust troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Familiarity with safety regulations and standards
• Stationary Engineman certification (MMF class 4 B)
