Role Overview An experienced splint technician will join the plastics clinic team to provide patient‑centered care involving fabrication of thermoplastic splints for hand injuries, range‑of‑motion exercises and patient education. The position may also include assessing WSIB specialty clinic patients and performing MSK assessments through the OWN specialty clinic program.
Responsibilities Fabricate thermoplastic splints for a variety of hand injuries.
Prescribe and supervise range‑of‑motion exercises.
Educate patients and caregivers about injury management.
Participate in plastic clinic team activities.
Assist with WSIB specialty clinic assessments and MSK assessments as needed.
Qualifications Registration in valuable standing with the College of Ontario.
Experience in plastic clinics with knowledge of hand injuries and custom splinting.
Excellent communication, interpersonal and team‑working skills.
Familiarity with electronic documentation.
Evidence of continuing education and career development.

Work Schedule Monday - Friday 07:30 AM - 01:30 PM. Schedules may change due to operational needs.
Compensation OPCOM12 range: $40.16 - $55.60 per hour.
