Position Overview

Effective October 1, 2026, the Division of Haematology/Oncology, Blood and Marrow Transplant and Cellular Therapy (BMT/CT) Section at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) is recruiting a permanent full‑time Paediatric Haematology/Oncologist. The BMT/CT program is one of the largest paediatric transplant and cellular therapy programmes in North America, performing 120–130 transplants and cellular therapy procedures annually for children referred from across Ontario and the Atlantic provinces.

Responsibilities
Provide clinical care for patients in both inpatient and ambulatory settings within the BMT/CT section.
Perform clinical procedures related to haematology and oncology.
Participate in after‑hours clinical coverage.
Contribute to the clinical, research and teaching missions of the Division.
Demonstrate excellence in teaching and research.

Qualifications
Proficient in English.
Hold an MD, MBBS, or equivalent.
Certified or eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, or hold comparable qualifications.
Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario.
Eligible for an academic appointment at the University of Toronto.




Rank and salary range from $275,543 to $350,000 per year, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
