Serving on the Urban Health team at St. Paul’s Hospital, you will engage with patients, provide essential nursing support, and collaboratively develop care strategies. Your background in nursing and addiction will be crucial in driving impactful patient engagement and interdisciplinary collaboration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide frontline clinical support and education on substance use
• Facilitate medication administration alongside nursing teams
• Develop Care Plan/Behavioral Support Plans for patients
• Engage in daily unit check-ins for effective communication
• Collaborate with psychiatric teams for complex patient care
Requirements:
• Registration as RN with BC College of Nurses and Midwives
• Minimum three years of clinical experience in specialty
• Robust coaching and supervisory skills
• Familiarity with educational programs and adult learning principles
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities
