Overview We are seeking a Set-Up Technician to join a growing Tier 1 automotive manufacturing facility. You’ll be responsible for setting up and troubleshooting tube bending and forming machines, conducting first-off inspections, and ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. This is a hands-on role for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys problem-solving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
Shift: Night Shift (Training on Days for 8–10 Weeks)
Key Responsibilities Set up and adjust tube bending and forming equipment for production runs
Conduct first-off inspections to verify dimensional accuracy and quality
Troubleshoot and resolve minor mechanical or process issues
Work collaboratively with Machine Operators, Maintenance, and Quality teams
Follow all Health & Safety standards and lockout/tagout procedures
Maintain accurate records of machine settings, tooling changes, and production runs
Requirements Minimum 2+ years of machine set-up experience (automotive or rapid-paced manufacturing preferred)
Solid mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to perform basic troubleshooting and quality checks
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada
