As a Senior Counsel, your role will focus on supporting Uline’s Canadian operations by ensuring compliance with relevant laws. This position entails collaboration with U.S. counterparts on commercial transactions and the proactive identification of legal risks. Your contributions will be vital in guiding Uline's management and HR in employment policies and practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide legal support for Canadian operations
• Assess commercial transactions alongside U.S. teams
• Identify and mitigate legal risks effectively
• Perform legal research and document preparation
• Collaborate with HR on compliance and policies
Requirements:
• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school
• Member in valuable standing with Ontario’s Law Society
• 5+ years of corporate legal experience
• Solid analytical and communication capabilities
• U.S.-based company experience preferred
