What you’ll do
This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing, and delivering prescriptions accurately and on time. The role includes ensuring adequate inventory levels, counselling patients with proper documentation, providing friendly and proactive interaction with customers, and raising awareness through public relations initiatives.
Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients
Ensure medication and over‑the‑counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs
Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, and proactive manner
Create awareness and educate customers through public relations activities (e.g., public health days, clinics)
Provide timely and positive resolution to patients’ needs and doctors’ requests/issues
Review and control costs at all levels within Loblaw Pharmacy (dispensary)
Provide ongoing training for all new and existing pharmacy colleagues (technicians, interns, students, IPGs)
What you’ll need
Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy and a Class A Pharmacists licence (must)
Superior customer relations skills and a solid sense of professionalism
Excellent leadership and performance management skills
Proven ability to build the business using community‑based marketing strategies
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem‑solving skills, including experience formulating and executing action plans
Robust personal computing skills and knowledge of Healthwatch and/or Kroll Pharmacy Computer system is a definite asset

Hiring Range: $44.00 - $60.60 per hour.
