You As a Senior Estimator WillConfidently lead a team through project procurement, the bid process and pre-constructionWork under pressure and meeting strict deadlinesMentor and train junior estimating staffAssemble accurate, detailed, and well-organized budgets and estimatesWork with various contract types - including Time and Material, Unit rate, Design Build and Lump sum.Organize sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re-writing binders and assisting the buy-out processMonitor the success of a project, assisting with value engineering and noting potential challengesBuild and maintain relationships with sub-trades for future opportunitiesDistribute sub-trade quotes and budgets to personnel, flagging areas of concern and coordinating with management to accommodate risk within the bid priceMaintain databases, including labour rates, material pricing, and project costs, for future referenceIs this the right role for you?You have a construction related degree or diploma and 6 to 10 years of experience in Civil construction estimating or an equivalent combination of technical training and experienceExperience in estimating earthworks and underground projects.You have an advanced knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques,
