Become a key contributor as a Registered Dietitian focused on diabetes management in Sioux Lookout. This role emphasizes collaboration and individualized care for clients.

The Registered Dietitian will deliver essential nutrition care and education to clients living with diabetes in the Sioux Lookout catchment area. Collaborating with an interdisciplinary team, you will develop, implement, and evaluate cutting-edge teaching programs. Responsibilities include community outreach and providing direct education in northern First Nations communities, ensuring quality care and fostering relationships within the local health landscape.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create and evaluate diabetes management programs
• Facilitate nutrition workshops for clients and families




• Offer personalized nutritional counseling and support
• Engage with healthcare professionals to improve outcomes
• Keep comprehensive records of client nutrition statistics

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Nutrition
• Membership with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Certified Diabetes Educator or pursuit of certification
• Solid experience in client interaction and education
• Willingness to travel for community nutrition education
