To qualify, you must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Nutrition and have completed a Dietetic Internship. As a key player, you will provide nutrition support, evaluate nutritional statuses, and create care plans. Collaboration with healthcare teams and individual follow-ups will be essential in promoting optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct health and nutrition assessments for clients
• Process referrals and prioritize client needs
• Monitor nutritional status and implement diabetes strategies
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Maintain comprehensive records and statistics
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Nutrition
• Completion of Dietetic Internship is mandatory
• Eligible for registration with the College of Dietitians of Ontario
• Certified Diabetes Educator or willingness to obtain
