Elevate neonatal care as the Clinical Practice Leader for Humber River Health's NICU. This full time role combines leadership, education, and quality improvement within maternal and child services.
As a Clinical Practice Leader, you will work closely with the Program Director to define and meet the needs of the NICU. Your responsibilities include developing education programs and mentoring staff to ensure high performance in care delivery. The role requires excellent communication skills and the ability to foster teamwork across disciplines for improved patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with the program management to assess NICU needs
• Model best practices in neonatal care
• Organize clinical orientation and competency assessments
• Create continuous education programs for staff
• Implement evidence-based guidelines for practice
Requirements:
• Current RN registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• Mandatory BScN and active pursuit of Master’s degree
• 3–5 years of clinical NICU experience required
• Necessary NRP Certification
• Effective educator with experience in clinical program design
