Overview

The Department of Surgery, Division of Urology at Markham Stouffville Hospital is recruiting a fourth member to its team. The successful candidate will be a fully contributing member of the Division, working in a community hospital setting to provide high‑quality and comprehensive urological services. Expertise in Pediatric Urology or Reconstructive Urology is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities
Attend to adult urological needs in a community hospital setting.
Help grow services in either Pediatric or Reconstructive Urology.
Have access to hospital resources, including operating room, outpatient surgical procedure suites, cystoscopy, and potential hospital‑based clinic time.
Participate in the on‑call coverage rotation (1:4).
Assist in regular operating‑room sessions.
Attend departmental and divisional meetings as required.

Qualifications / Experience
License to practice independently in Ontario from the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario (CPSO).




Urology certification from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada or equivalent.
