WSP has a recent opportunity for a Senior Technical Advisor focusing on Upstream Oil & Gas sites to join our Remediation Program Management team based in Edmonton or Calgary.
Your Impact
Developing plans to progress Upstream Oil & Gas sites to closure or developing risk management plans
Reviewing reports prepared by others
Engaging with stakeholders, including regulators
Fostering the development of new and emerging innovations to remain the trusted leader in site closure
Mentoring junior staff in conducting environmental site assessment, remediation, and closure activities
The Skills That Set You Apart
Post‑secondary Degree in Environmental Sciences or related
A minimum of twenty years experience in environmental consulting, specializing in Upstream Oil & Gas
Strong awareness of health and safety issues and a safety‑conscious attitude
Strong interpersonal communication skills with a desire to work in a collaborative team
Professional registration
Subsoil Salinity Tool Certification

AB, BC, NT, NU, SK & YK: $132,700 – $175,800
MB & ON: $121,100 – $166,700
NB, NL, NS, PEI & QC: $119,900 – $159,200
