Overview

We are a rural community clinic inviting a locum physician for the summer months (June 29 – Sep 7, 2026). Positions are adaptable with a typical 4‑day/week schedule (available up to 5 days). The practice is shared between two general practitioners and three other practices, offering teamwork, weekend rounds, and inpatient/long‑term care (LTC) responsibilities.

Key Duties
Provide primary care to an average of 24 patients per day.
Participate in shared weekend rounds (approximately 1 of 6 weekends).
Optional emergency department coverage.
Optional obstetrics coverage.
Mandatory inpatient and LTC management (currently 2 reliable LTC patients).
Home visits, as needed.
Use the Mois EMR platform.

Job Type: Medium Term (2–8 weeks)
Hours: Full time, 4–5 days per week.
Overhead Split: 75%
Payment: Billings‑based locum.
Travel and accommodation: Not provided.

Requirements
Board‑certified Family Medicine or equivalent.
Valuable command of English.
Experience in inpatient and LTC care preferred.
Comfortable with Mois EMR system.
