Lead the transformational journey of Intact’s Policy Administration System. Seeking a seasoned Principal Software Architect to shape AI-enhanced solutions and secure data across a hybrid work environment.
Reporting directly to the Vice-President of Personal Lines, you’ll own the comprehensive architecture and strategy for our in-house PAS platform. This role focuses on integrating cutting-edge technologies such as AI and contemporary engineering practices while ensuring regulatory compliance in a mission-critical environment. You will have the authority to influence decision-making and guide engineering excellence across diverse teams.
Key Responsibilities:
• Own the architecture and future roadmap for PAS
• Integrate AI innovations into the policy lifecycle




• Lead the transition off legacy systems to up-to-date solutions
• Ensure robust data security and regulatory compliance
• Mentor and grow the engineering community across the organization
Requirements:
• 15+ years in software engineering and architecture
• Proficient in Java, Angular, and RESTful APIs
• Solid experience in AI application within development
• Cloud platform expertise (AWS/Azure/GCP)
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent
