About the Role:

Our client, a reputable family office, is hiring a Financial Controller to oversee full-cycle accounting for a group of investment holding companies. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this leadership role is ideal for a hands-on CPA with investment accounting experience and a talent for team leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Oversee month/year-end close for multiple entities
Manage investment accounting and portfolio reporting
Handle tax compliance: GST/QST, T5s, NR slips, corporate filings
Lead and coach a team of four accounting professionals
Liaise with auditors, tax advisors, and banks
Improve internal controls and optimize processes

What You Bring:
7+ years of progressive accounting experience (investment focus required)
Proven leadership and mentoring skills
Robust attention to detail, communication,



and strategic thinking
