Lead the Kwakiutl Band Council as Chief Administrative Officer, fostering collaboration and strategic management in Port Hardy, BC. Drive community-focused initiatives and engage with local governance structures.
As the Chief Administrative Officer for the Kwakiutl Band Council, you will oversee the administration of programs, ensure operational excellence, and provide insight to Chief and Council. You will cultivate a culture of trust and integrity while ensuring effective service delivery across departments for community well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Guide administrative management of programs and services
• Lead strategic planning and operational updates
• Build partnerships through transparent communication




• Ensure compliance with laws and funding agreements
• Supervise, mentor, and support staff development
Requirements:
• Post-secondary education in relevant fields
• Several years of executive leadership experience
• Solid understanding of First Nation governance
• Proven ability in financial management and human resources
• Valid driver’s license for travel requirements
Contribute to the historical legacy of the Kwakiutl community through ethical leadership, strategic priorities, and shared vision.
