We are seeking a talented and motivated Mid-Level Coverage Associate to join our growing Toronto team.

The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of post-call coverage experience in an in‑house or private practice setting. The successful candidate will work with experienced senior counsel on insurance coverage matters. An existing client base is not required. Responsibilities
Providing coverage advice on policy interpretation and draft coverage opinions in relation to a variety of insurance policies across numerous industry sectors
Supporting senior counsel on complex matters
Business development and professional profile enhancement
Meeting billable targets
People/team leadership, mentorship and management

Qualifications
Legally entitled to practice law in Canada
Member in positive standing with the Law Society of Ontario
At least 3 years of coverage experience
Excellent English oral and written skills and communication ability




Robust organization and teamwork skills
Ability to multi‑task and manage a busy practice alongside Legal Assistants and Clerks

Salary

The salary range for this position is $160,000 - $195,000 annually; the salary offered is based upon year of call and is dependent upon skills and experience.
