Summary of Duties
Prepare surgical case carts for regular, specialized, and emergency situations.
Operate decontamination equipment, prepare and package sterile instrumentation/supplies, ensuring all quality indicators are met.
Operate all sterilization equipment.
Deliver and pick up supplies.
Qualifications / Skills
Approved Sterile Supply Processing Certificate required.
Instrumentation experience essential.
Previous Tech 2 experience in MDRC is essential.
Applicants with previous Tech 2 experience in MDRC will be given priority.
Broad knowledge of all surgical services and complex instrumentation.
O.R. technical experience preferred.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to function as a team member as well as independently.
Ability to work and problem solve in a rapid-paced workplace.
Proficient in case cart preparation.
Competent computer skills.
