As a Recreation Aide, you will assess and implement recreational programs based on resident needs, promoting a culture of engagement and social connection. Working under the guidance of the Recreation Manager, you will evaluate the effectiveness of each program while maintaining accurate participation records. You'll also play a key role in community integration through scheduled outings.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement engaging recreation and leisure activities
• Maintain accurate program documentation and assessments
• Foster inclusive relationships with residents and families




• Facilitate outings and events for community engagement
• Support essential daily routines including meal services
Requirements:
• Diploma in Recreation, Leisure Studies, or a related field
• Experience in gerontology or recreational settings preferred
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Valid driver’s license for transporting residents
