Tasked with performing upkeep and repairs on customer vehicles. Use diagnostic tools to identify automotive issues and deliver excellent customer service while outlining repairs and problems. Plan repair procedures using charts, manuals, and experience. Test component and system functionality. Perform basic auto maintenance such as fluid level checks, tire rotations, and oil changes. Repair and replace components such as brake pads, wheel bearings, and sensors. Conduct standard upkeep and general mechanical work on vehicles. Be willing to acquire additional certifications and to learn through practical experience. Maintain an organized and clean repair shop and a professional demeanor.

Qualifications
- Experience repairing cars and engines or auto mechanic education is required.
- ASE certifications are required.
- Active driver’s license.
- Associate’s degree in auto repair and maintenance.
- Ability to conduct oneself professionally and provide helpful customer service.
- Ability to read, interpret, and transcribe data accurately.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced setting and handle multiple tasks.
- Lift up to 50 lb.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Lube technician experience or willingness to undergo on-the-job training.
- Knowledge of car air conditioning systems.
- Experience with or willingness to use diagnostic tools.
- Diesel engine knowledge, heavy equipment experience, or diesel mechanic experience (or willingness to train).
- Valuable hand-eye coordination.
Terms of Employment & Compensation
Full-time, permanent position. 30 to 40 hours per week. Salary: $29.15 – $40.00 per hour.
