About the Role

The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their Senior Leadership Team. The CFO will be a key player in the development and execution of the company's strategic plan, with a focus on financial aspects such as sales, growth, expense, and profit objectives. This role is pivotal in ensuring the financial stability and profitability of the organization, and the successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team and interacting with other leaders to uphold the company's values and culture. The CFO will also be accountable for all financial aspects, including the development and implementation of financial strategy, policies, procedures, and controls, as well as leading financial planning and analysis,



risk management, and compliance.

Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, management, or a related field, a CPA designation, and at least 10 years of financial management experience, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity. The role requires expertise in financial compliance, tax laws, and regulatory requirements, as well as exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will be strategic, accountable, and possess a solid sense of integrity and honesty. Experience in the shipping, logistics, or service industry is an asset, but not required. The CFO will also be expected to have a proven track record in managing financial risk, cash flow, and investments, and to be adept at building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
