Responsibilities Work on the day shift, Monday to Friday.
Develop manufacturing strategies and support their implementation.
Conduct in‑depth analyses to optimize processes and drive continuous improvement.
Generate detailed plans aligned with master schedules, ensuring communication, tracking, and progress follow‑up.
Develop and implement robust and effective operational processes.
Maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and director‑level operational dashboards.
Identify major operational issues and propose effective action plans.
Demonstrate leadership in resolving complex problems.
Act as a high‑level liaison between various operations groups during escalations.
Coordinate activities with internal teams, partners, external suppliers, and/or customers.
Support cost control and financial performance monitoring.
Develop and coach leaders on management competencies.
Provide indirect supervision during absences or replacements.
Promote a work environment based on teamwork and open communication.
Qualifications You hold a college or university degree in aeronautics, engineering, operations management or a related field.
You have a minimum of 12 years of experience at Bombardier or equivalent.
You have at least five (5) years of supervisory experience in a unionized manufacturing environment.
You demonstrate strong planning and organizational skills to achieve results.
You show managerial courage when leading personnel.
You are available, flexible, and motivated by a dynamic and evolving environment.
You have excellent communication and leadership skills.
You are bilingual.
