In this pivotal position, you will be directly involved in managing and optimizing server operations while instilling best practices in a small team of engineers. Your expertise will drive the automation and security protocols necessary for our servers, helping to create an efficient and reliable setting. You'll also ensure that our backup procedures meet defined recovery targets, further enhancing our operational robustness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Keep servers rapid and resolve performance issues proactively
• Ensure consistent server configurations using Git




• Conduct regular testing of backup processes and restore capabilities
• Develop a library of operational runbooks for the team
• Collaborate with vendors for resolution of operational issues
Requirements:
• Extensive hands-on experience with Linux systems
• Solid scripting skills in Bash, Python, or Perl
• Proficient in MySQL/MariaDB administration
• Experience in disaster recovery and backups
• Excellent communication and ownership skills
