PCL Energy is hiring Journeyperson B Pressure Rig Welders for a critical outage in Coquitlam, BC. Work shifts alternate from days to nights, starting August 4.
This role requires a valid Journeyperson Welder certificate with a B-Pressure ticket. Key responsibilities involve completing weld qualifying tests in various processes, such as SMAW and GTAW. Successful candidates will demonstrate solid welding experience in carbon, stainless, and duplex steel, along with safety-conscious work practices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Complete F3-F4 SMAW and F6-F5 GTAW/SMAW weld tests
• Work effectively in teams or independently
• Adhere to all PCL safety processes
• Operate in various outdoor conditions
• Follow direction and meet project requirements
Requirements:
• Valid Journeyperson Welder certificate with B-Pressure ticket
• Demonstrable experience in carbon, stainless, and duplex steel welding
• Successful completion of safety training
• Reliable transportation to project site
• Pass a pre-access drug and alcohol test
