Plant Manager – 24‑hour FacilityEtobicoke, ONProduction Paint Stripping (PPS) is a leading provider of paint stripping and metal cleaning services for the automotive and aerospace sectors in southern Ontario for 30 years.About UsWe are looking for a strategic, driven, and strong people leader to join our team as a Plant Manager for our 24‑hour operation facility in Etobicoke, ON. This is a contract position.Job SummaryThe Plant Manager’s main responsibilities include:Monitoring and exceeding financial goalsMaximizing operational capacityMaintaining excellent quality standards and customer serviceBuilding and leading the supervisory teamDriving continuous improvement initiatives while ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulationsEssential FunctionsOversee and direct all daily plant operations to ensure efficiency and productivityDrive MPW/PPS’ safety culture and compliance objectives and incident reporting according to corporate requirementsMaintain strong daily communications with all team members, managers, and customersEnforce health, safety, and environmental rules and regulations to be followed at the Plant‐levelWork with the Human Resources Manager in maintaining plant‑level HR functions and initiativesAdditional ResponsibilitiesThis position is responsible for manpower, management of equipment, and maintaining customer relations within set geographic locationsTravel among the Canadian and US PPS Plants may be required, time to timeMust uphold the Company’s values and lead by exampleAbility to work effectively and collaboratively with cross‑functional teamsPerforms all other duties as assignedKey BehavioursCustomer Service: Proactively developing customer relationships by listening and understanding the customer (both internal and external); anticipating and providing solutions to customer needs; giving high priority tocustomer satisfactionProfessionalism:
