This pivotal role requires an experienced designer who will guide the entire development from concept to production. With a solid background in industrial design, involving at least five years of consumer or wearable device experience, you will collaborate with diverse teams including engineering and manufacturing partners for a cohesive outcome.
Your focus will be on creating wearable devices that are comfortable, stylish, and functional.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the industrial design of wearable hardware
Define and realize CMF elements for products
Utilize sketching and 3D modeling for concept exploration
Partner with engineering for aesthetic and functional balance
Ensure high standards during EVT/DVT/PVT phases
Requirements:
5+ years experience in industrial design for consumer devices
Proficient in design software (e.g., Rhino or Solid Works)
Expert in materials and manufacturing processes
Solid ergonomics and human factors knowledge
