Responsibilities
Performs repairs on vehicles as assigned
Performs vehicle inspections and assessments, including diagnosing issues
Documents all work performed to manufacturer standards and/or recommendations on the repair order
Road tests vehicles as required
Ensures that customer cars are kept clean
Attends all training courses as requested by service management
Assists in training and supervising apprentice technicians
Qualifications
310S Automotive service technician trade certification, meeting provincial requirements
Maintains all relevant licences and qualifications to perform duties
Thorough knowledge of mechanical repairs and procedures
Knowledge of provincial safety standards concerning the performance and area of position responsibility
Valid Ontario driver’s licence and clean driver’s abstract
Ability to drive manual transmission
Ability to work cohesively with employees and managers as part of a team
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Ability to work efficiently and effectively under pressure with simultaneous deadlines
Detail oriented and excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills

Competitive Compensation: Pay ranges from $31.00 to $43.00 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
