Become the Interim Medical Lead for the Addiction Medicine department at Fraser Health. Provide leadership and ensure adherence to high standards of care for addiction services.
This role involves oversight of the Regional Bed Based Withdrawal Management services, focusing on improving patient outcomes through evidence-informed care. Collaborate with the Program Medical Director to develop impactful quality improvement initiatives while participating actively in regional MHSU meetings. You will play a critical role in ensuring the operational needs of the department are met.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and oversee addiction withdrawal management programs
• Liaise with other addiction leads for regional coordination




• Develop strategies for continuous quality improvement
• Promote health and wellness initiatives among team members
• Review human resource requirements with medical leadership
Requirements:
• Active CPSBC license and CMPA coverage required
• Must have CCFP or FRCPC designation
• Be an active medical staff member within Fraser Health
• Commitment to ongoing learning is essential
• Two-year renewable term with initial anticipated start in September
