You lead the delivery of seasonal collections to maintain a robust competitive advantage in all relevant markets, with recognized colour excellence across our product lines. You champion the colour creation process in line with Arc'teryx brand standards, design, product principles, and colour merchandising philosophies. You work to improve process efficiencies for Colour throughout all of our cross-functional touchpoints.This role is based out of our North Vancouver office and is open to hybrid work. Candidates must be eligible to work in Canada.Meet your future team:The Colour & Graphics Team is a hub that links the product design and visual merchandising process with the guest experience. We balance creativity, design, process, and logistics to ensure the successful execution of the Arc'teryx colour and graphics design philosophy.Core responsibilities include:Building, coaching, and guiding a high-performing team of colour designersMentoring colour designers and overseeing all colour specifications to meet brand aestheticsForecasting colour direction for collections and creating cross-category cohesivenessCreating palettes based on sociological insights, global trends, and regional preferences,



maintaining Arc'teryx's essenceCollaborating on innovative product creation feasible within manufacturing constraintsEstablishing best practices to ensure colour quality and process efficiencyManaging colour lifecycle to balance timelines and creative inputDelivering commercial colour assortments aligned with business metricsCollaborating with Visual Merchandising and PLM teams on seasonal strategies and assortmentsDriving colour merchandising concepts and cross-merchandising strategiesBuilding industry contacts for colour creative developmentFuture projects may include:Developing and presenting colour vision for seasons and evergreen collectionsPartnering with design on palettes and graphic developmentCollaborating with merchandising teams for enhanced guest experienceWorking with Supply Chain on logistical frameworksSharing seasonal colour strategies with brand and commercial teamsQualifications:Apparel Design Diploma or equivalent experience7+ years in colour and fashion environmentExceptional sense for colour harmony and extensive colour theory knowledgeSuperior colour acuity and understanding of materialsExperience in line development and successful collection deliveryKnowledge of Arc'teryx products and applicationsAdvanced Adobe skillsExcellent communication and presentation skillsUnderstanding of retail buying, line development, and manufacturing timelinesProactive, creative problem solver with attention to detailLeadership and influencing skillsAwareness of global markets and cultural differencesEqual OpportunityArc'teryx fosters an inclusive culture where all voices are heard and respected.
