Crowsnest Pass is located in a rural setting where Licensed Practical Nurses work within a multidisciplinary team to provide additional family focused nursing care.

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), you are part of an interprofessional health care team, utilizing nursing processes, critical thinking, problem solving, and decision making skills. You will be guided by your education, experience, and demonstrated skill level, in alignment with applicable legislation, standards of practice, policies, and procedures. You will play a key role in providing secure, high quality, patient and family centred care while reflecting the shared vision and values of the organization.





Completion of an accredited practical nurse education program. Active or eligible for registration and a practice permit as a Licensed Practical Nurse with the College of LPNs and HCAs of Alberta (CLHA). Current Basic Cardiac Life Support - Health Care Provider (BCLS-HCP).

Current certification for IV management and BGM. Recent on-site Continuing Care nursing experience with robust knowledge base, preference will be given to candidates with one or more years of LPN experience. Successful candidate will be expected to work at full scope of practice. Must have demonstrated organizational and prioritization skills. Works well as a team member. Adaptable in adapting to changes in workload and assignment as required. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Experience with Connect Care. Participates as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
