Training And ExperienceA level of education, training and experience equivalent to a Master of Science in Nursing and five (5) to seven (7) years' experience in delivery of program-related care; leadership roles preferred. Registration with BC College of Nurses and Midwives as a practicing RN registrant. National certification in program area, where required.Skills And AbilitiesDemonstrated leadership ability and highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.Demonstrated commitment to client-focused services and teamwork.Ability to integrate administrative, qualified and operational aspects of the program throughout Island Health in an effective and efficient manner.Ability to develop and nurture an environment where quality improvement and patient safety principles are embraced and used on a continuous basis.This role has a heavy focus on Emergency and requires the successful applicant to have experience working in the Emergency Department.The salary range for this position is $108,147 (min) to $135,184 (midpoint) to $155,461 (max) per annum (based on 1 FTE).
