While predominantly focused on the Public Markets business segment in Canada, the U.S. and the UK, Global Operations administer a broad and often complex range of investment strategies, fund structures and asset classes in support of the Institutional, Financial Intermediary and Private Wealth distribution channels. Private (Alternative Investment) Markets is also supported but mainly through the use of feeder funds (fund of funds). Global Operations teams work in a highly collaborative and fast-paced environment whereby attention to detail, operational risk, and client focus are must-have traits.The Global Performance team plays a critical role in supporting the investment and client reporting process through the calculation and validation of Fiera's investment performance results at the strategy, composite, mandate and client levels in adherence to the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS).The team works closely with multiple key internal stakeholders, including our Public and Private Markets' portfolio management teams and CIO offices, the various distribution and client facing teams, Investment Risk, Operations, Legal & Compliance, and Finance.What we are looking for:The Manager,



Global Performance Measurement is a collaborative leader that is responsible for the investment performance operations and support of Fiera's complex line-up of investment strategies and products. The Manager works closely with operations, investment and distribution teams to manage the service delivery, operational readiness, GIPS compliance. This person is a hands‐on subject matter expert in their field with a proven track record of being able to develop and execute through their team as well as navigate effectively within a global firm. As a trusted business partner, the role must be client and solution focused.Your responsibilities:Build a high performing team capable of delivering quality results in a dynamic, fast-paced business environmentDevelop and coach team members, set goals, manage progress and motivate them to maintain a continuous improvement mindsetEmpower team members to participate in and lead high profile projects that will promote growth and effectivenessLead by example and keep employee's workload manageable and challengingAdvocate on behalf of the team in any arena where they need a voiceComprehensive service delivery for Fiera Capital's public markets and private markets feeder funds' investment performance reporting including attribution servicesLead the implementation and maintenance of all performance measurement systemsManages annual GIPS Firm verification and examination by external auditorsHelp with ongoing interpretation of the GIPS standards by drawing on practical experience, industry guidance, and external auditor expertiseWorks closely with the investment teams and other operations teams for all matters concerning performance measurement and analytics reportingStays current on industry and regulatory trends and the evolving needs of our clients and partnersDemonstrate an understanding of the asset management industry and other department functions, collaborating with other departments to bring solutions to fruitionMaintains strong relationships with distribution, investment and operations teams to ensure client satisfaction and trustResponds to client due diligence questionnaires and prospect RFPsMust have requirements to be successful in this role:Bachelor's degree in finance, statistics, business, or a related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.G., CFA, CAIA, FRM, CIPM) preferredTypically has 7+ years of performance and investment analytics experience in an asset management setting,



with 3+ years of management experienceKnowledge of all asset classes and market performance and attribution methodologies and best practicesWorking knowledge of GIPS and regulatory requirements in the investment industryExperience leading cross‐functional projects and initiativesExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts clearly to all levels of stakeholdersKnowledge of Eagle PACE, FactSet, APX, Archer, Bloomberg PORT+, B-One, and Morningstar are considered strong assetsAbility to work collaboratively in a global, cross‐functional environmentAdaptable to a dynamic and fast‐paced environmentHigh level of integrity and professionalismFrench language proficiency is required for candidates based in Montreal.Additional Information:Fiera Capital adheres to a hybrid working workplace with 4 days in-office per week.The salary range for this position is $130,000- $145,000. This role is also be eligible for additional compensation, including bonuses and employee benefits.
