Maintenance Supervisor – Afternoon Shift

Location: Kitchener, ON

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Compensation: $45/hour + $0.50/hour shift premium

Overview

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to lead a team of skilled trades professionals in a fast-paced industrial setting. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader coming from the trades who can drive maintenance performance, ensure equipment reliability, and support production efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise and lead a team of approximately 15 maintenance trades personnel
- Coordinate daily maintenance activities, including preventative and reactive work
- Ensure maximum equipment uptime and operational efficiency
- Enforce health & safety standards and promote a strong safety culture
- Plan and schedule maintenance work,



including shutdowns and projects
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve processes
- Manage performance, training, and development of team members
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting

Qualifications

- Certified trades background required (Millwright or Electrician, or Tool & Die Maker)
- Proven experience in a Maintenance Supervisor or Lead Hand role
- Strong experience within automotive, heavy industrial, steel, aluminum, or metal manufacturing environments
- Solid understanding of preventative maintenance systems and troubleshooting
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
