We are looking for a knowledgeable Heavy Equipment Mechanic to work in office, tackling maintenance and repair challenges for heavy machinery. A strong focus on accuracy and hands-on experience is essential.

As an ideal candidate, you have 3 to 5 years of experience in heavy equipment mechanics. You will instruct apprentices, troubleshoot issues, and ensure that all repairs meet rigorous standards. An understanding of maintenance documentation is crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
• Instruct and mentor apprentices in the workshop
• Troubleshoot and inspect heavy machines
• Adjust equipment, replacing faulty parts as needed
• Maintain records of repairs and maintenance work
• Perform regular equipment cleaning and lubrication

Requirements:
• Other trades certificate or diploma required
• 3-5 years’ practical experience in mechanics
• Strong organizational skills and reliability
• Capable of handling physically demanding tasks
• Detail-oriented with good manual dexterity
