The Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a full-time Fire Testing Technician. This role suits an individual who is enthusiastic about contributing to the success of our business. You'll join our service team to support our increasing client base to ensure we are able to provide outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

Conduct monthly, quarterly, six‑monthly, annual and five‑yearly routine maintenance and testing of fire alarm systems in accordance with AS1851‑2012 and other relevant Australian Standards.

Liaise directly with clients regarding routine maintenance work.

Complete service reports, quotations and compliance documentation accurately and on time.

Commit to workplace safety and good work practices.

About You
The successful applicant will need to have a current Victorian driver’s licence and demonstrate an excellent understanding of, or willingness to learn about, fire alarm systems,



Fire Indicator Panels and Emergency Warning Systems across commercial, industrial and residential properties.

Your Education, Experience and Skills

Demonstrated experience working with fire alarm systems and routine testing (preferred but not essential).

A robust understanding of AS1851 and associated standards, or willingness to learn.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with clients.

Successful applicant required to undertake Police & Working with Children check.

Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office for reporting and documentation.

Strong problem‑solving, fault‑finding and diagnostic skills.

Accountability and a strong customer service focus.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Ability to proactively schedule your own work.

Punctuality and strong attention to detail.
