An exciting prospect awaits at the University of Toronto for an Assistant Professor in Speech-Language Pathology, specializing in biomedical engineering and speech sciences, to begin on July 1, 2026.

The position is contractually limited for three years, focusing on innovative and independent research while establishing a competitive research program. You will supervise trainees and integrate clinical disciplines into teaching practices, contributing to advancing biomedical image processing and related fields.

Key Responsibilities:
• Drive innovative research in rehabilitation engineering
• Build a robust and funded research program
• Mentor students and research trainees
• Integrate clinical knowledge effectively into courses
• Promote equity and diversity in your teaching

Requirements:
• PhD in biomedical engineering or analogous field
• Post-doctoral fellowship in related disciplines
• Documented research excellence with high-quality publications
