Fraser Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse for mental health services. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional client-centered care.

As a Registered Nurse/Registered Psychiatric Nurse, you will provide treatment and support to individuals with mental illness and concurrent disorders. This role includes developing personalized care plans, advocating for clients, and ensuring they receive timely, appropriate care. You will create a welcoming workplace for recovery and rehabilitation by employing a trauma-informed, culturally responsive approach.

Key Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for client care
• Perform mental health assessments and develop treatment plans




• Administer medications and monitor treatment responses
• Facilitate client empowerment and self-care strategies
• Provide individual counselling and crisis intervention

Requirements:
• Graduation from an accredited nursing curriculum
• Two years of experience in mental health treatment
• Current BC nursing license required
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver's License
• Knowledge of mental health issues and treatment
