Retail Sales Manager – Centex Gas Station
Location: 5102 50th St. Tofield, AB T0B 0B2
Work setting: Rural area
Work location: On site (no remote work available)
Hours: 35 hours per week, full time, shift schedule (morning, evening, weekend, flexible hours)
Start date: As soon as possible
Salary: $45.00 per hour

Responsibilities

Direct and control daily operations

Evaluate daily operations

Plan and organize daily operations

Manage staff and assign duties

Study market research and trends to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the effect of competitors’ operations on sales

Determine merchandise and services to be sold

Implement price and credits policies

Locate, select and procure merchandise for resale

Develop and implement marketing strategies

Plan budgets and monitor revenues and expenses

Determine staffing requirements

Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints and supply shortages

Recruit, hire and supervise staff and/or volunteers

Conduct performance reviews

Supervise office and volunteer staff (3–4 people)

Qualifications

English language proficiency

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate





1 year to less than 2 years of relevant retail or managerial experience

Strong analytical, collaborative, and proactive attitude
