Become a resourceful Secondary Resource Teacher in the Quesnel School District's Alternative Program. This temporary position from September 1, 2026, to December 31, 2026, focuses on Science and Foods/Nutrition education.

Located at McNaughton Center, you will teach three blocks of Science and two blocks of Foods, including daily sessions in Interpersonal Family Relationships (Rap). Your responsibilities will entail case management time for CBIEP learning plans, requiring effective collaboration with other educational professionals to ensure student success.

Key Responsibilities:
• Teach Science and Home Economics with enthusiasm
• Implement daily lessons for Interpersonal Family Relationships
• Manage individualized student learning plans for CBIEP




• Work collaboratively to enhance student learning experiences
• Utilize prep time for effective planning and course material

Requirements:
• Valid BC Teaching Certificate required
• Recent teaching experience at the secondary level
• Two or more upper-level Science courses completed
• Must possess or obtain a Foods Safe Certificate
• Willingness to support a cooperative and creative team
