SLB is seeking a results-driven and customer-focused individual to join our Peace River, Alberta Artificial Lift team as a Field Service Manager . In this role, you will lead service, sales, and operational activities supporting oil and gas customers while ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery. You will oversee daily field and shop operations, manage financial performance, and provide leadership and direction to service personnel.

Roles and Responsibilities

Lead service, sales, and operational activities to support customer requirements and business objectives.

Manage departmental financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L; accountability.

Build and maintain strong customer relationships to support business growth and client satisfaction.

Oversee daily field and shop operations, ensuring efficient execution of service activities.

Supervise, coach, and develop field and shop personnel to support performance and professional growth.

Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate service delivery and resource planning to meet customer timelines and operational demands.

Identify and address operational challenges while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

Diploma or degree in Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or related discipline.





5+ years of experience in service, sales, or operations within the oil and gas industry.

Strong experience with artificial lift systems, particularly Progressive Cavity Pump (PCP) technology.

Solid understanding of PCP operations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and field applications.

Demonstrated experience managing financial performance, including P&L; responsibility.

Experience with ERP or service management systems is considered an asset.

Strong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and relationship-building abilities.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively across teams.

Must be legally authorized to work and reside in Canada without company sponsorship.
