Vickar Automotive Group is seeking an experienced andstrategic Human Resources Manager to join our team.

As one of Manitoba's largest and most respected automotiveorganizations, we operate multiple dealership and corporate locations, employing350–400 team members. This position offers a unique opportunity to shape theemployee experience, influence organizational culture, and contribute directlyto the continued growth and success of our business.

Reporting to Executive Leadership, the Human ResourcesManager will serve as a trusted business partner, providing leadership acrossall areas of Human Resources while supporting organizational objectives througheffective people strategies, workforce planning, and employee engagementinitiatives.

About the Role
The Human Resources Manager is responsible for leading allaspects of the Human Resources function across Vickar Automotive Group. Thisrole requires a strategic thinker who can balance high-level planning withhands-on execution while building strong relationships with leaders andemployees throughout the organization.

You will partner closely with Executive Leadership, GeneralManagers, and Department Managers to develop and implement initiatives thatattract, develop, engage, and retain talented employees while fostering apositive, high-performance workplace culture.

Key Areas of Responsibility
Strategic Human Resources Leadership

Provideleadership and direction for the Human Resources function across alllocations.

Developand implement HR strategies that align with organizational priorities andlong-term business objectives.

Serveas a trusted advisor to Executive Leadership on workforce planning,organizational development, and employee relations matters.

Identifyopportunities to improve organizational effectiveness, employeeengagement, and workforce productivity.

Leadorganizational change initiatives and support business growth andtransformation.

Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning

Developand oversee recruitment strategies that attract high-quality candidates.

Partnerwith operational leaders to forecast workforce needs and successionrequirements.





Strengthenemployer branding initiatives and enhance Vickar Automotive Group'sreputation as an employer of choice.

Buildrelationships with educational institutions, industry partners, andcommunity organizations to support talent acquisition efforts.

Leadership Development & Succession Planning

Designand support leadership development programs for current and futureleaders.

Identifyhigh-potential employees and create development pathways that supportinternal growth.

Developand maintain succession plans for critical leadership and operationalpositions.

Providecoaching and guidance to managers and supervisors on leadership andemployee development.

Employee Relations & Culture

Leademployee relations initiatives and support the resolution of workplaceconcerns and investigations.

Coachleaders on performance management, conflict resolution, corrective action,and employee engagement.

Promotea culture of accountability, collaboration, respect, and continuousimprovement.

HR Operations, Compliance & Analytics

Developand maintain HR policies, programs, and procedures that support businessneeds and legislative compliance.

Ensurecompliance with Employment Standards, Human Rights, Workplace Safety andHealth, privacy legislation, and company policies.

Collaboratewith Finance regarding compensation programs, benefits administration,workforce budgeting, and payroll governance.

Use HRmetrics, workforce analytics, and business insights to supportdecision-making and continuous improvement.

What You Bring
Education

Degree,diploma, or certificate in Human Resources, Business Administration,Organizational Development, Commerce, or a related discipline.

CPHRdesignation (or actively pursuing designation) is considered an asset.

Additionaleducation or training in employment law, workplace investigations,coaching, leadership development, or organizational effectiveness isdesirable.

Experience





Minimum5–7 years of progressive Human Resources experience.

Minimum3 years in a leadership, management, or senior HR advisory capacity.

Demonstratedexperience supporting multiple business units or locations.

Strongbackground in employee relations, workforce planning, succession planning,talent management, and organizational development.

Experiencein automotive, retail, hospitality, or other multi-location environmentsis considered an asset.

Strongbusiness acumen and strategic thinking abilities.

Exceptionalleadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.

Abilityto influence, coach, and develop leaders at all levels of theorganization.

Excellentproblem-solving and decision-making capabilities.

Stronganalytical skills with the ability to leverage workforce data to supportrecommendations.

Highdegree of professionalism, discretion, and integrity.
